Wow.. Helspont; blast from the past.

He didn't make it past the four-issue mini, right? I collected the regular series through about #20 or so, and never saw him return. I forget if he died or not.

Superman will mess him UP.

Huge WildC.A.T.S. fan here...

Well.. huge until about issue #20 or so. I didn't read much of Charest's run on the book, but his art is gorgeous, so I probably cheated myself (when he came on is also right around when I stopped collecting for about ten years, anyways).

New Guardians is the only GL Book I kept up with. I've been enjoying it!

It's on my ever shrinking list of books to keep up with from DC.

Actually the GL Corps is the best of the 4. I'm sticking with them all for at least a year.

My surprise purchase this week was Avenging Spider-Man # 5. What a great book. Great art and a solid story. I liked it so much I went back to my LCS and bought issues # 1-4 as well. Very pleased.

I rank the GL books as:
GL => GL Corps => GL New Guardians (lasted 4 issues for me) => Red Lantern => (lasted only 1 issue on this one)

as for Avenging...#1-3 were a great, fun storyline...#4 was "meh"...heard good things about #5 so I'll be jumping into it when my books arrive tomorrow

I thought it was a pretty good start actually. The first half was ok but it got really interesting in the second half with the dialogue between Supes & Helspont. Looking forward to the rest of this story.
