Rogue PF

Really want one of these but I cant buy one and just hope I dont get a crossed eyed head. It sucks they dropped the ball on this one because I really like the sculpt.

Hey guys since everyone is reprinting the regular head of rogue I decided to do the exclusive head, of course I will also do the regular head cause that's the one I'm gonna display but since this is my first time reprinting a sculpt I'm going to practice with the ex head. I'm still missing some paints so it's gonna be a while before you see any paints wip's but for now I stripped the paint off and primed her. I used acetone and a tooth brush to take the paint off. Heres some pics.

The acetone is so strong that it melted the glue that is holding the head band together. Be careful not to use too much acetone cause it starts eating away at that band cause it's made out of plastic but some primer and a little sanding fixed that up.


Here is the hole that the band goes into


Here she is primed. Gonna be a while till I paint her cause I'm waiting on some paint and more materials.

I think who received the Rogue PF, he certainly isn't satisfied...
I think who received the Rogue PF, he certainly expected sideshow remedied in some way ..

WOW you can see from the primed head that the eyebrows should have been painted across and not with up strokes. Can't wait to see some more WIP pictures. The factory really f****d up

Wow, you're right. This is a bit pathetic but at least these Rogue pics are closer to what people think they are going to get now... except they don't come close to showing just how sh#t the paint job is.

Given the hassle there has been with Rogue and knowing that the same factory will be producing the Joker PF I have taken a copy of the hi-res pics from the Joker thread and saved them to my hard drive. I hope SS have realized from Rogue that collectors won't stand for sub-par product but, just in case, the pics may come in handy in case SS changes their pics immediately prior to shipping the statue.
