Welp, I've been on the waitlist for an Ex for a while now. Probably going to end up getting a regular at a retailer instead since that head sculpt is warming up to me a bit and don't want to blow my chance at owning one of these. I haven't ordered direct from SS in over 3 years so my record will remain untarnished.

Yeah, my husband and I had to rent a 10x10 storage unit to fit all our statue boxes. It's filling up pretty fast...
I've got the reg on flex for a Christmas present for him. Had to double-check which version he preferred. I'm glad he likes the reg head better, because I was not optimistic about an ex wait list converting for me. Probably doesn't matter anyway, though, because I'm sure he'll display her backwards.

I got a nice big attic that I store my boxes in, only a few are too large to fit up the entrance.

I have a similar process. Mine go in the attic space above my garage. Its a fully finished garage so they're protected from moisture. The only boxes that can't fit are my Cinemaquette and SSC Alien3 Maquette boxes. Its like a maze up there but surprisingly they're quite organized so if/when the need arises to part with a piece I know what section to look for the box in question.

My room looks like a warehouse, a hoarders warehouse.

Your husband is a very lucky guy in more ways than one.

then you'd receive the statue two months after the first batch

I wouldn't use the word "huge" then.

I guess I can't say I'm a huge Xmen fan then since I buy almost all of SS' Xmen statues but I have only a handful of the comics
