I just saw pictures of a near complete sculpt, it looks amazing.

Mark Newman is sculpting this and the Jason, they are going to work as companion pieces, so if you get both they'll display awesome together.

Like you said the artists do an amazing job and then Sideshow with their botched cheap paint job and non existing QC kills it.Why isn't done right the 1st time, instead of recalls that delays even further (Rogue/Rulk/Apocalypse etc...) ? This company is backwards.

Everything you guys make in-shop is always gonna look amazing, dude. We already know that. It's a proto.

I'd rather hear you say, "Just got word that we cracked open the first haul of production pieces to see how the quality held up and they all look amazing. Can't wait 'til these ship out to you all."

But yeah, looking forward to the prototype pics.

I love the PF with the doll and light up base and it is on my to get list but I might wait to see if this looks better or not.

Hand behind the back is odd. A few people on SSC pointed it out. But besides that, this does look like another good Freddy statue. I don't think Sideshow has made a bad Freddy statue yet.

the one thing i did like about that film is that they touched base on his background and his relationship with the children. that explained his connection and why he wanted to come back and take them from their parent by killing them. which i thought was brilliant. but he def should have touched on him practicing black magic or something to give relevance of him being able to come back in there dreams and be able to kill them,. , thats where the brilliance ended..

What I really hated was how they made him a full on child molester. In the original, he was reffered to as a suspected 'child killer', but making him a full on child mo pedophile ruined it. It totally removed the anti-hero rooting for the villian aspect and just made him completely unlikable. But it was an otherwise dumb film anyway so who cares. I checked out within the first 15 minutes anyway with all the 30 something year olds playing "high school kids'
