Jewish Holiday?!?!?
True story....One of my hostesses at work said " I need this Saturday off to observe a religious holiday I forgot about"
That struck me as being odd, and since I have known her for awhile, I asked her what the holiday was.
She replied...."Well, I am a really bad Jew. All I know is that my Mom said she is coming to take me to temple for the whole day!" and we both had a good laugh.
So, what IS the holiday that is this Saturday?
Anyone???

Don't know of one...perhaps she's banking on you NOT knowing about Jewish holidays...or else it's a really obscure one.
Hostesses...what do you do? Run an escort service?

I oversee food and beverage operations at a hotel and university
I am sure there are a few strippers, but I cannot confirm escorts!

It's Purim, and it is a big Jewish holiday.

Being Catholic, if we had any holidays that required going to church all day, I'd rather work.

Then again, I haven't been to church in about 10 years or so . I told my dad that if he wanted me to go, he'd have to phsyically drag me there every Sunday. And being bigger than him, he felt it wasn't worth the effort
