The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

I think it's because how steadily the price of pieces have increased from SS. My first piece direct from them was the Rhino Comiquette, I have no doubt it'd be at least double today for the exact same statue.

I agree with you on that one. I'm curious if SS restricted Harbottle to do it their way? Who knows.....
As for pricing, ES, and pricing at this point I don't believe anything they say. They won't even respond to mass obvious QC issues like Psylocke with cracking paint, Short pegs that wont hold like spider woman, Increased double shipping cost overnight, Says there's no replacements while others still get them, Won't listen to mass fan complaints like the first supergirl, when it's obvious, and deleting all replies saying SS is not perfect on all their sites and FB, unless we all say they have outstanding products giving them 5 stars ratings. I think a company like SS needs to hear buyers out more often, and be more honest about the big obvious mistakes. Buyers are ok with mistakes and long as the honesty is there. With this said yes I continue to buy from them. They do still have some superior sculptors and outstanding products I love. I just hope they get better in time with all the draw backs. It would just feel better knowing the company I buy from stands by the honesty and integrity of thier fans and products to the best of thier knowledge.

I agree. I don't believe the whole China story or the engineering that went into it. I just think SS is crazy.
Rhino would be $1200 or higher if he were to be released today.

Despite the eggshell and neck seam he is one of Sideshow's best statues imo.
