I'm really excited to see this piece completed. I think it has a lot of potential. Having this and The Barbarian together will make for an amazing display.

Out of curiosity will you be going for heavy shadows on the face or will the actual product have it fully detailed? I really like the shadows in the painting, but I imagine that's hard to do in 3D form.

That's an interesting question. Feigning a high contrast painting style with minimal detail is really tricky. To be honest the style of my sculpt will probably land in the same area as the barbarian. I will say this though; if my sculpt is half decent you should be able put a strong overhead directional light on it to create the same type of heavy shadowing. Ill do my best to be faithful to the painting, but I still need to make it understandable for as broad a market as possible.
