Why they wouldn't include remote functionality in the head of this bust though, makes no sense. Surely it's big enough to contain the same device that's in the chest...

The arc reactor is pretty much the same as their other busts with it having an internal battery charged via USB cable.

However the head is more than a bit annoying as I?m not willing to take off the head each time to switch it on. And given the felt used on the neck socket, I?m assuming a tight fit, as such I doubt I?ll be able to run the thin cables from a battery eliminator so I can connect it to my light system.

Their life size iron man busts have the eyes powered by mains, and as you say, the arc is removable to charge up and on remote. You do not need to take off the head to switch on the eyes, unlike their life size and 1/4 scale mark 7s

That’s the problem. That doesn’t apply to the Mark 3 bust! And now I’m thinking probably the Mark 7 too.

Sorry my bad, I wasn't keeping up with the news! That is awful news honestly, as it was bad enough with the chargeable arc. What a joke...

Am seriously considering cancelling but as I'm having him against a wall with a plug socket nearby, I guess I could use a battery eliminator to power the eyes, turn it off and on at the wall and deal with the arc/keep it charged up. I won't have it on all the time but I'd like the option

Thanks for setting me straight, and fingers crossed the 7 bust won't be the same
