XM Studios X-23 1/4 Statue

Canceled this because it was taking too long. I really like the costume and color. But I?m not sure I have room for 2 X-23s in my collection. SSs is still exceptionally well done. Perhaps it was for the best. I?d grab this if the opportunity presented itself however.

Yeah.. This one took 2.5 years to ship, after the PO was released at SGCC 19. Damn long... What's worse was that they changed the initial better portrait(the rage face) out to now an emotionless portrait. Sad...

With the ES being 338 I'm super tempted on getting this. Magik had a similar ES and is now impossible to find. Missed out on SS X-23 so this is the only option I have left. Hmmm..

The difference is Magik is a good statue and has no other 1/4 scale competition.

If you really love her in the X-23 Wolverine outfit then enjoy and PO. For me I prefer how her portrait/pose came out in the SS version.

Magik is one of the best XM females done, at the time probably folks had to many others on PO and got stuck with a smaller ES than she should have been. Also one of the few X-Men that doesn't have the over textures.

Because of a small ES, I would only buy a statue that I didn't like if I could sell it again at a profit.
I think this X-23 will only sell at a loss.

And as a big X-23 fan, I didn't order this statue. I don't think the Statue does the character justice.

So I ended up going with XM's X-23. The suit being comic accurate was Ultimately the reason why. I have her paired up with IKS Age of Apocalypse Wolverine haha.

I gotta say She looks way better in person. Love the pose and costume. Everything is painted so well.

Just wish they didn't scrap the grinning portrait, and the unmasked head didn't make her look so old. She's supposed to be like 19 in the comics but unmasked looks mid 20's lol. Other than that im very pleased with the statue.
