Honestly that's too bad considering JND has been delivering some great work, and you can see thousands of crappy/garbage quality Marvel/Star Wars toys and figures and statues out there. I imagine there's a thick layer of politics and "who you know" in the business as well.

Well.....I interpreted that whole statement in a different way. Why would a company go to such length to explain their failure to acquire a certain license? And to especially announce "they will never give up"?......weird.
I expect a "surprise" announcement anytime soon, explaining they've got those "cash cow" licences, and a "see, we told you we'd never give up"
Yeah, I bet they already have the license and are just ironing out the details.
Plus, watch the video again.....he doesn't say if they have the license or not, he says they're talking to Disney - and they'll never give up. Often the "truth" is in what they don't say, rather than what they do.
