Anybody have these prints framed themselves? Is it cheaper to go that option? Or is the framed print the way to go? Never grabbed one of these before and might jump on the Captain Marvel Print.

You'll definitely be able to get cheaper/better quality frames done locally, especially if you're not in the US. Or like Orange Crush will say, you can always frame them yourself for big savings as well if you have the time / desire to learn.

I generally go to my local shop and upgrade the materials to full conservation quality with good wooden frames / UV protected glass and put my own flair on the design.

The length of the X-Men print would prevent you from framing it for cheaper. I've gotten a lot of stuff framed recently and had two prints about that size that cost me very little and they were asking 350 just for a simple frame and nothing special to it. I tried to get a quote with some mating and design to it and my 20 dollar print was close to 550 now. If you're talking about the regular prints then yes, you can definitely have it done for cheaper because those don't fall into the oversized category for glass and frames.

At least this is my experience from two different shops giving me different quotes on different art in the Boston area.

Yea, I'm actually very happy with pepper. My waitlist for the unframed converted and now I have her and the 3 variant gotham sirens in my portfolio.

Stan Lau is so good at drawing an idealized female form it's hard to not just stare at them lol.

He's also pretty damn good at really cool gritty stuff, I really hope we get a print from him with a group of characters / male characters done in the water colour style that he uses too.

Here's an example of hanzo from overwatch, I want to see a sideshow print from Lau of this style some time.
