Are August meeting will be held on Saturday, August 18th, 2012
Alternate Universe, the only model club for all things SciFi, Fantasy and Horror will be holding it's May meeting at the Olive Recreation Center, 1111 West Olive Ave. Burbank, CA. See map at bottom of page. The meeting will be held in Meeting Room 4 on Saturday, August 18, 2012 The time is from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
This month John Eubank will be giving a demo on applying putty and fillers to resin and plastic model kits. Be sure to bring any kits you are working on that might have a problem areas in need of some "Plastic Surgery". If you have any ideas for future demos or would like to give a demo, please let me know so we can schedule it.
Some of you have asked so this month we will be having a swap meet. If you have any kits, figures, or other model related items you want to trade with other members, bring them.
Best parking is behind the Recreation Center off Clark Street, so come early.

Just a reminder. Admission is free and the meetings fun. Alternate Universe has no membership dues, We only accept donations to help cover room rental and refreshment costs. Our goal is to promote the hobby of SciFi, Fantasy and Horror modeling.
Please only model related items for the prize table. Thank you.
Bring your a finished project. Bring a friend, join the fun with our group builds. Some of our members have said this gives them the time to work on their projects they can do otherwise.
