Not sure if my acquisition qualifies as "new"... but I guess since it was new to me it counts?

Anyway, was able to find this second hand on CL. Has a little water damage on the underside base, but not a deal breaker for me. I just wanted to complete my set up. Never thought I would own a SS at the current crazy prices, but picked this up (without the box) for $125. Now I wish I picked up the Classic Iron Man!

Love that pic behind the statues. What's the story on that?

The collection is great, but please change Thor and Iron Man, they have to be in front of their pictures. This bothers me so much haha :P

Thanks nbr3bagshotrow!
There's not really any story behind the backdrop. I saw this online and it gave me the idea.

So I just extended it, put in the characters I wanted and printed it out. (we have access to that at my work.) These are some of my favorite characters and I just happened to be able to get them all as statues! So it worked out.

Thanks Abrissbirne...and I totally agree! The OCD in me also wants to move them...but I like the visual variety of highs and lows this line-up produces. So I will have to re-do the backdrop to mimic the current statue line-up!

These pics look great guys. Sometimes its easy to forget (as collectors, because we're overwhelmed with pieces pieces and more pieces) how great these statues look in collections.

For sure. The main I still don't have a display is because I haven't figured out a way that lets me group them all together the way I'd like. I'm not a fan of something like Ikea's detolf because it looks so segmented.
