Berserker Vikings were ancient Norse warriors who fought in a wild frenzy.. like the term says. "SPEED KILLS".
i hear and understand everything you are saying, u make complete and total sense on all points. Respectfully, i still feel this sculpture's sole weakness is the weapons. They just don't seem like weapons the Viking Warrior would willingly choose. Eitherway, it's a beautiful sculpture and i'm considering picking this up and sculpting my own ideal weapons.

well it makes perfect sense why he would choose those weapons. he is a Viking. your thinking more along the lines of a barbarian battle axe.
but i hear ya. you feel that something bigger is better. and it does fit the role of the fantasy realm of characters such as Conan the barbarian.
i like them for they def relate to the character that is holding them on a realistic authentic level.. i could see your point if he was holing just one. but he is wielding two. so in that case it makes perfect sense why they are the size they are. but if it was just one. then i would agree that the axe should have been a bigger battle axe for he would need two hands to wield it.

You gotta love it, all this chit chat about appropriate weapons and such; Bottomline, there is nothing "Viking" about this figure.

I don't like the shifflets style of sculpting. Too many "bumps" everywhere.

That's weird. It doesn't seem to be in any of the website locations. Not in pre-order, Website Exclusive, or even "legacy" if it had sold out. Beats me.
