Love Death + Robots.

8/10

I've had this on my watch list for ages. When I finally watched the first episode, I ended up binge watching the series late into the night. It's surreal, violent, funny and all around entertaining. Given it's nature (a series of short films by different people) Some episodes are a lot better than others, but even the couple that didn't stand out to me so much were still very watchable. Well worth your time.

Jessica Jones - Season 3 - 7.5/10

Not quite as compelling as the first season but a truckload better than the second. The series asks some hard questions and gives even harder answers, basically what we would expect from the booze swilling heroine that doesn't want the job.

Also, this is the last season of the Marvel TV shows, which have all now been cancelled, and considering Daredevil Season 3, Jessica Jones Season 3 and even Iron Fist Season 2 were all pretty strong to downright amazing I'm going to miss these shows. Netflix better start producing some damn good stuff, because it lost 5 shows that carried a lot of weight.

Six. Don't forget about The Defenders.

Speaking for myself, I'm only gonna miss Daredevil and Punisher. The other shows were mixed bags.

These shows were made or broken by the villains. Fisk stood, quite literally, head and shoulders above them all. The other shows were interesting only as long as we saw the likes of Kilgrave or Cottonmouth.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm halfway through and love the show.

Really Chernobyl? I thought it was just a documentary?

No, it's a fictional depiction of the event. More dramatized. The event is accurate and the science is accurate - just the way they go about explaining/showing the dangers is more dramatic. I mean, even radioactive deaths need to be a touch more dramatic I suppose Very nice mini series - I very much enjoy the two main actors.

I did learn something - I never knew graphite was used in reactors. #TheMoreYouKnow
