Interesting that I have yet to see a single 1/6 movie tie in statue yet. Or is it because Marvel doesn’t have it’s own product line of collectibles like DC has. Very hard to believe since Disney owns Marvel so I would think they would capitalize on merchandise including collectible statues. So our options are the 1) small ARTFX+ but no ARTFX akin to Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, 2) the reasonably priced but also small Diamond Select Marvel Gallery PVC statue (there’s also an SDCC Mohawk version exclusive) and the 3) postponed until 2020 Kotobukiya Bishoujo. Just odd I would say. Would love to have a 1/6 Captain Marvel statue even if it’s just PVC based on the movie.

Movie Premiere is tomorrow. Annette Benning is not on the list to show. I was hoping to get my Dick Tracy poster signed. Boo.

I don't understand what is the big deal in her words. Yeah, the market is dominated by white males as costumers, and all she wants to do is bring in more minority. May be she has the idea of having people of color as much as the white males as fans someday. I don't see anything offensive about this.

I know Marvel’s touting her as their most powerful hero, but this is so off compared to the comic book version of the character I’m genuinely worried. Yes, she’s extremely powerful, but I’d never have put her above Thor or The Hulk in terms of strength and power. I just hope this movie does her justice and that her inevitable appearance in Endgame doesn’t minimize Thor and The Hulk. This is not misogyny. I’ve loved Carol’s character going back to the ‘60s and ‘70s.

There only females I would put more powerful than Thor and Hulk are those that wield cosmic powers - ala Phoenix/Dark Phoenix.

Other than that, I'm hard pressed to thing of a female that is strong. Not powerful, but that physically strong. Rogue and She-Hulk aren't even that strong.

I would’ve preferred Ms. Marvel. The Warbird costume was great and she still had the Binary Powers in that costume if I remember right. Would’ve been a great way to introduce Simon Williams as well.

I don't know man...there are plenty of female "costumers" in the biz as well...
