I don’t know. I have to admit, this issue fell a bit flat and left me underwhelmed. Maybe it’s because Waid and Samnee just knocked my socks off with the first issue of their Black Widow title that I expected the same here. But I didn’t get that experience. For a first issue it felt a bit trite and cliche. I’ll keep buying for now. I mean, it’s Cap handled by the creative dream team. But I sure hope they give us more meat in these issues.

I agree with you. It was a bit underwhelming. I did really like seeing Steve back on a bike just cruising America again. Hopefully, this will last a little while.

Read the first Issue, you really can't go wrong with Mark Waid writing Cap, he just get's it. Really good first issue to intro Cap back to what he was. I'll be reading this from now on.

I would like to read this, but Marvel has dumped all over us now for several years. Maybe I’ll pick up the tpb’s in a few years.
