It seems to me they announced this a little too early. It doesn't seem like they even have a script yet. I also doubt this will have any connection to the Urban Dredd film.

Rebellion have been hinting for a while and only recently Urban said he'd do a tv series.

i dont think urban is above doing a tv series, i would be EXTREMELY interested if he does it. its as close as were ever going to get to a sequel so ill take what i can get

He already did "almost human" not so long ago. It was a decent show, but was canned after a single series.

Planet Replicas has just put on Facebook that they have read the first draft script. Hopefully Netflix get it.

Oh that would be amazing, one more reason to keep my Netflix Subscription. Hopefully they get Karl Urban and Olivia Thirlby to join the cast. If that's the case it'd be must watch.
