Go to amazon.com and look it up. There's a lot of information on it over there and they are offering it at $45 which is alot better than the retail price of $75.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Here's a very good write up on it with some good pictures:

It's defiantely worth $75 but the $45 that I ordered from Amazon is a steal!

Sold out in one day!

If anyone hasn't already picked it up it sold out in one day!

LOST GIRLS SELLS OUT IN ONE DAY
Top Shelf reports massive sellout of Alan Moore's latest title

"Alan Moore's Lost Girls hit stores on Wednesday, Aug. 31, and the entire 10,000 copy first printing sold out on that day. It even hit the "Top 20" on Amazon.com, which has never happened to a Top Shelf title before. By that Friday, the back orders in the Diamond system had already exceeded the second printing of 10,000, which is scheduled to hit stores in October. So, we went ahead and ordered another 20,000 copies for the third printing, to arrive in December."

Thumbs down lost Girls update

read this in Comics international - to my dismay

Quote:
if you live in the USD, you should be fine. Comic stores got their full orders for the first print, have been allocated on the the second, but the third print should mop a lot of them up.

As for the UK, well, yes there are copyright problems here. After corresponding with owners of Peter Pan ciopyright, the great ormond street Hospital, Lost Girls will NOT be distributed in the UK or europe, in Comic stores or bookshops, until an agreement is reached. Peter Pan enters the Public domain in 2008(although an act of Parliment ensures that Top shelf will have to pay the hospital a certain sum in the UK for the privelige of publishing the volume).

if the stalemate continues until then, Top shelf will publish a UK version in January 2008
