All the pictures look great. I took over a board member's preorder a while back - hopefully he hears from his source soon and this gets all buttoned up. This will be my second XM (along with Samurai Batman).

Finally received her two days ago and I must say I'm disappointed...not by the paint on the teeth (which on mine is better than in the pic we saw) but by the paint on the face, and especially the lines between the hair and the face...
Looks like an "old school bad painted Sideshow piece", which is already a shame, but Sideshow at that time cost 3 time less than Dark Phoenix... Reminds me the paint on first Poison Ivy PF.
And yes she has googly eyes on the calm head...
For that price and from XM, that's just inacceptable. I will post pics later, once I opened a case to support...
Still good things, paint on her body is amazing, the phoenix looks great even if it's a little small and the statue has an overall great presence.

That's a shame Armored... I remember a few years back IGO saying that XM was a small company and they had the ability to be more thorough with the QC but to wait for them to get bigger and they would probably have more issues..
I think were starting to see that, I doubt XM is going through all the boxes like they once did to check on QC before shipping them out... So some sloppy stuff is getting out there...
Luckily my Phoenix came out great but I feel for those who spend $1200+ on a statue to get iffy QC...
