Trailer and colors almost have a Sin City vibe to it, and i am not all that impressed what i see so far but then again i hated Force Awakens.\
Emo Sith crying in the ship as he kills mama, sorry but this Emo Sith Lord is worse then JarJar.
Also why is Disney doing a movie right after were the first one left off? Lucas always did his movies set years apart, just shows me Disney is going to milk the hell out of Star Wars for years to come.
Still wish Expanded universe was being made, wanted to see the stories of Mara Jade in live action.

They are not hamsters, peeps. They are the amalgamation of penguins and sea otters.
Or maybe that’s just my marine biologist degree wants them to be.

“Emo Sith” is exactly what I HATE about Kylo.
Thank goodness Luke looks amazing in this one.

Luke is a bad ass for sure.
Not sure how else you could tackle someone like Kylo whose representing teen angst, especially against his parents.

Well how about instead of the crying like a baby and just be sick in the head loving the fact he's going to become evil and just off his parents. I don't get why every movie these days is crying emotion Emos, just off them and get down with the sithness!
Just saying...

Because you're describing an insane person and not a complex character that is struggling with how he was raised and what he thinks he wants. Seeing the inner struggle in Ben is what makes him compelling. If he were just sinister in every way he would just be another cartoon/comic villain, IMO.

I wanted something short, no number (unless needed, and I always use 56), and I wanted it to indicate that I am female. I'm not angsty, goth, or really anything that my handle indicates. I am blunt, fun, sassy, feisty, cynical, and can have a dark sense of humor. So back in the day my friends and I were sitting around with cartoons in the background and Gargoyles came on. The female Gargoyle's name was Demona and we all thought that would be a good handle. So now I have been using this handle for a little over 20 years. It's my Xbox gamertag too - Demona56
I never heard that theory, but I'm with you that it's waaaaay out there.
Works for me too. I'd like that too. I just can't have a ESB Part II.
It's going to be so sad to see Leia die (if that does happen).

Ahhh...got it! I really liked Gargoyles when it first came out. Thanks for sharing that!

Is the movie so straightforward that you need to trick audiences with misdirection before going in? I sure hope not. We deserve a strong narrative after the cookie cutter TFA and nothing will disappoint me more than this film playing out by the numbers with no risks being taken.

Yeah, watched the trailer a few times too and it made think who really is the villian in the movie; Ren? Snoke? Luke?

My guess is that Luke is reluctant to train Rey and the part at the end of the trailer where she's asking for help, she's actually talking to Luke to try and convince him to train her.
I doubt Rey turns bad and I doubt Kylo turns good... I would guess Disney will play it safe and it should be by the #'s for this one like TFA was... To much money is at stake for Disney to try and play it risky by putting it big curve balls in the plot line... I think the deception in the trailer is to try and make people think the movie has more depth then it really has...
I'm sure it will be good, I just how my doubts it will be Empire Strikes Back Good...

New trailer "awake"
Obviously they are trying to make us think Rey will turn to the dark side, but no way. Calling total BS on that.
More like, she senses Finn is in danger, Luke says, you haven't finished your training yet, yada yada yoda. She leaves, has fight with someone, gets hand cut off, learns a secret truth, Finn gets captured, the end.
