WTF?

Ian Mcdiarmind is 5' 10" (70 inches)

The life-size bust is about 22" (head, upper body from the sternum)

1/4 scale SHOULD be a QUARTER of the size of everything on the real actor / costume / accessory.

Yes, to be 100% accurate - all statues should vary in height and size to reflect the real variance between one actor to another.

When I commissioned the 1/4 scale Chris Reeve Superman statue - I made damn sure that everything we did was as close to being a QUARTER of the size as possible - right down to the width of the belt loops on the red trunks. Sadly, it appears that most companies don't go to those extremes and sacrifice the accuracy instead by making things "generic" in size.

That Hot Toys Rambo certainly looks too small if the Sideshow PF Maul is accurately sized.

I thought you referring to the Maul premium format figure, not the bust.

Terrible job. If it's 1/5 scale they should say 1/5. I'm glad Sideshow is pretty good with keeping their stuff in scale. (with the scale they say it will be in)
