Love the ex head. I wanted to be able to pass on this but it looks great and actually enough statue to support the expected cost. Unless it's over $600. And I wish they had this kind of black support base in dark Phoenix

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I think the texture is great....it looks every inch of his body is alive and "crawling". I have the comiquette and would not have wanted something so similar to it. The EX head is what does it for me.

Apologies if this was explained somewhere in here before, can someone please explain the significance of the head on the base?

Yup. I know this term gets used allot but in this case it's true again.... Pictures do this thing no justice. Looks great in person.

Its part of the crumbling falling architecture that the new spiderman line of PFs is seemingly hopping around on.
Warriors were often put on bridges and buildings and seen as guardians.

I love everything about this piece! For those that saw it in person at NYCC, I hear he's as big as Bane?

It looks fantastic in person. I was not at all a fan from the early pics that came out, but I must have gone to the Sideshow booth 10x just to look at Venom and Carnage. He's massive, the texturing on his body looks fantastic in person and I can only imagine how good it looks with the gloss coats they weren't able to put on before NYCC.
If Venom isn't as big as Bane, he's just a tiny fraction smaller. He's huge, these pictures do not do him justice at all. I've had a lot of moments where I'm surprised at how much better a piece looks in person, but none even come close to the world of a difference between Venom in pictures and in person. In my truly honest opinion, if you're a Venom or Spider-Man fan and you don't order this, you're missing out big time. Venom is one of my favorite villains and after seeing him in person I can't imagine not having it in my collection.
