1/10 ARTFX+ Thanos - Avengers Infinity War Version

"The newest, and arguably most dangerous villain from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, THANOS from AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR joins Kotobukiya’s ARTFX+ line!

On a mad crusade to balance the universe by any means possible Thanos brandishes his fully powered Infinity Gauntlet with grim determination. Thanos's bold and confident pose will be familiar to comic and movie fans alike.

Sculpted in 1:10 scale, Thanos was created from the actual source files from Marvel studios and features all the details found in the cinematic counterpart, down to the distinct styling of his outfit and Infinity Gauntlet. As with all Marvel ARTFX+ releases Thanos will be shelf ready with only taking minutes to assemble out of the packaging.

$99.99 USD. Available Late November 2018."

SWEET. I'll definitely be getting this.

Looks like I'll be spending the next year collecting the Infinity War ArtFX+ statues to go with this.

Those sly foxes at Marvel changed the look of all the characters so much for this movie that the old movie statues are unfit to display alongside this.

It's up for pre-order at BBTS, which I did.
They're giving a $10 discount.

looks cool, I think I'll wait until the next movie comes out and see what the suit designs will look like for that. Hopefully more traditional.

I'm not sure they'll do statues for the next movie, considering that Koto's MCU output is famously low. This is the first villain we're getting.

The MCU Thor, Widow, Hawkeye, Loki and Ultron still don't exist.

This is probably the first time they're doing a full lineup, after not taking the opportunity for the likes of Avengers, Guardians, Civil War and Ragnarok.

Never thought about that, interesting point. I'm willing to take that chance though as I'm not excited about the costumes, not even Cap's.
....Hulkbuster though is cool.

Iron Studios is much nicer and only a bit more expensive as it is larger and made of polystone. If I were to buy one, I'd go with the Marvel Gallery. $40 in a 1/8 scale. Probable not as nice as the KOTO, but most likely not a big difference. Half the price and a larger size.

To be honest I didn’t like it, if I’m going to pay that I would very much rather to wait for ArtFX+ comic version Thanos from Avengers wave 2. It looks much more menacing and has a classic comic look Thanos with his armor on.

Are you telling me they'll change the costumes for Avengers 4 yet again?

Oh man...

I agree though... many of the new costumes are letdowns. (I mean why did Widow have to dye her hair. They could have simply given her gold bracelets and belt like the comics.) But I'll probably be getting the Iron Spider.
