(Minor spoilers for Infinity War)

I know that we have an over-abundance of Iron Man merch, and Koto has produced him more than any other MCU character.

Still, if we're only getting a handful of statues, I hope to re-create at least one movie-accurate battle scene. And that's why I want Iron Man alongside Peter and Strange fighting Thanos. Plus, we don't have an RDJ face from Koto yet, I think.

I wouldn't mind the 5th one being Star Lord, even though we already got him in sixth scale, for the same exact reason.

I honestly can't see Koto doing anyone other than the big 3 and throwing in the Iron Spider. I hope they expand this roster. If they recreated a diorama with the fight on Titan, that would have been great.

If they plan to release characters to complete the two big fight scenes they had seven characters fighting Thanos in the first fight and the second one would be almost 9, if not more. I think they should do the Black Order to display with Thanos. I think Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and Black Panther just seem like more of the same thing. The ArtFX+ line has suffered a lack of villains for a long time now.

I agree about the lack of villains, but henchmen are not the same as villains. I personally don't care about the black order, certainly not enough to drop $300 on them, especially when there are no heroes I can put across from them. They literally just showed up, and had minimal character development. It would be a sin if they got statues before characters who have headlined their own franchises.

In an ideal world, the dioramas would have all the characters. However, since we're only getting 3 or 4, having just the MVPs is not a dealbreaker for me. And in that regard, the Titan fight scene is their best bet, IMO.

Koto already has a pattern for recreating fight scenes. I do hope they continue that.

This sounds like a possiblity, but with Koto's penchant for battle scenes, I hope it doesn't happen.

Either give us Iron Man, Iron Spider and Dr. Strange; or Cap, Thor and Black Widow or someone else.

I prefer the former bacause
a) I liked the Titan fight scene better.
b) The Titan team was closer to their basic look than the Wakanda team. Cap without his classic shield and Thor without his classic hammer just doesn't look right to me. And God knows what possessed Widow to change her hair color.

A random assortment from both parties is not something I would be interested in, and I might even not get Thanos in that case.

This is also because the looks of these characters are very specific to this movie and the statues will not fit in with any other MCU diorama.

Iron Studios is also doing a 1/10 scale battle diorama series and the first two releases are villains. I just don’t care to have another Iron Man or Captain America. Kotobukiya could do the villains at a much more affordable cost to buyers being PVC.

From what I've seen of IS future releases from Infinity war, KOTO has very little chance to match. IS has 16-18 pieces coming out for Infinity War and they look great. They're made of a higher quality material, are in the same scale, have a better likeness and may cost only $10-$20 more. KOTO needs to lower their prices if they keep doing PVC. Marvel Gallery from Diamond Select may also take away sales, so these pieces need to be priced right and look great.

This is true. Kotobukiya has the THANOS ArtFX+ at $99 on their website but IS has their polystone 1/10 Thanos with a light up infinity gauntlet and larger, more elaborate base for $159.

And the base can be changed to 4 different heights. The regular pieces will most likely be $100-$110, so it's going to be hard if KOTO keeps jacking up their prices. The detail on these looks phenomenal.
