I don't buy so much these days for various reasons, but if I do buy a statue, it is because I plan to keep it, or I buy knowing that I'll probably lose money on it if I do have to sell, and that's probably safe advice in general for this hobby now. The days of impulse purchases for me are long gone. I might have bought this a few years ago..

Agreed, but that should mean that the price would go down but it seems to be the opposite.

Between the Galactus art print, and the Surfer Maquette, a new Galactus PF or maquette seems inevitable.

Me too! I regretfully sold my LSB years ago.
I wonder how difficult it would to make power trails for Surfers fists out of a tinted rubber material?

I'd love a new Galactus statue. The old me would have already pre-ordered this Surfer but as cool a character as he is and the statue looks great, I'm just not that big of a fan to spend big money on. If the prices weren't crazy these days I'd definitely pick it up. But at these prices no more impulse buys or buying a statue of any character just because it looks cool. I have to feel a connection to the character.

If that’s the plan, surely a silver surfer art print is on the way.

I def want a SS in my collection and there are some choices out there so I’ll wait . The Galactus presents an interesting scenario , I own the LSB and it’s amazing but I’d like to see something scaled like that which includes a torso or at least partial torso to really give the big guy some size over a 1/4 Surfer .
