Final bid on the Red Death $5,655.00. That's a $3220 loss from the original sale price of $8875, not including the extra 15% eBay/PayPal overall cut (i.e., $848). That's a 45% loss in just a few months. Ouchie.

Well it’s also a very odd and niche character . Something tried and tested but classic Lee I’m sure gets it’s fair share of cash. Red Death ..... who cares about a character that’s one year old

I thought we found information that they did get a tax write-off.
Wasn't the original winner of this auction the same guy who was buying/requesting all of the obscure Batman versions? If it was, I'm wondering why he flipped this piece.

I checked it out when I first saw the auction and I do not believe that the guy who requested the character is the same person who won the original auction. I don't have direct knowledge so I could be wrong about that.
