Official MONDO posters thread

As SSC has announced a partnership with MONDO and will be distributing their product on a regular basis I thought I would take the liberty of starting a Mondo discussion thread. The thread is not tied to a specific piece but I hope that it will be a one stop for all their pieces and in hand pictures as members buy and display their prints.

If it takes off perhaps the moderators will consider "sticky" status

I have the COMPLETE Mondo Star Wars line, including the Moss and Stouts, and I'm pretty proud of it!
I got most on release, but only had to pick up a couple that I missed due to traveling at the time of release.

I am super happy with it. The poster showcases every single character produced as they appeared in the toyline.

I am amazed that it has not sold out yet as it features a couple of "MONDO firsts" if I am not mistaken. This is the first MONDO piece featuring the DC Universe heavy hitters (sorry Swamp Thing). It is also the first MONDO print that is based on toyline or anything other than a film or TV series IIRC.

Holy Moley, that is quite the coup (and valuable investment)! You have every right to be proud of that!

I was recently introduced to MONDO by a buddy and the only other print I have is SDCC Captain America one, which I fluked into owning.

That's a really solid piece! I just looked into it. Maybe it's the 100.00 price tag, but I'm also surprised that it's in stock!

I like the thread. However I would have put it in the Movie section. While Sideshow has indeed established a partnership, it seems it is going to be very limited. Mondo has released 81 different prints since they announced their partnership with Sideshow back in December. While Sideshow has only released 2 in that time.

I say get Mondo some recognition in the Movie section of this forum.

Btw testsubject, I am very jealous of your Star Wars set. I only recently managed to obtain the Episode IV poster by Stout... it wasn't cheap.

81 pieces in 7-9 months! That is insane!

I appreciate the logic of the move to the movie section but the SSC section is where all the action seems to be. I personally vote that we keep it where it is to maximize traffic as our movie section seems to have a smaller group of core visitors. SSC does distribute Mondo and the majority of the discussion on the Tron thread was in regards to the pieces SSC is distributing but I will leave the ultimate decision to the powers that be.
