I plan to turn it into a three-dimensional chess game.

its all in how you display it, display it like a play set and thats what its going to look like. set it up with proper lighting at the right height and it will look amazing im sure

Very ambitious, I fear that it will all be too dark though when it's painted.

Would love to have a Superman version but it's way too big and probably way too expensive for me to get one. LOL

What are you even trying to say? That owning 50 statues and displaying a dozen of them is A-ok but having this is over the top? Doesn't make any sense. And yeah I guess you'd have to stop inviting people over who aren't actually your friends, and who cares what people like that think anyway.

Couldn't order this... the urge would be too strong by mini-humans to play with all the pieces that cost 20x more than something similar at the store

This thing could be cool if it doesn't give off playset vibes once painted. Like someone said previously, lighting and display aesthetics will be everything with this piece.

If I had a batman-inspired home theater, this would find a cool home in there within a strategically-lit built-in wall nook display, but the thought of integrating this into a 1/4 and 1/3 display seems bizarre until we see photos of it at cons around the other statues.
