Well, XM has announced that their new Mags is the first in a new line based on Dawn of X. And Ang has already stated they are working on a black suit Storm. So... I'm thinking we may be very happy with their suit choice!

Another Magneto?! Jesus.
But if their Storm is indeed a modern suit, and done well, I will pay the premium to obtain it. I hope they do NOT mirror that above pose though because it would be too tall.

I have no desire for a squatting Storm either.

Pulling for the X-Men Red 7 cover (the original) to be their inspiration

I think this Dawn of X costume has enough detail in it to not warrant them adding any unnecessary hideous buckles or zippers.

That's good news. Will have to see what they come up with.

I agree.
However, it's a tough call if XM agrees as well.

I think the Dawn of X outfit has less fancy stuff on it than the Jim Lee outfit and they tricked that thing out with all types of textures.
What may be the saving grace is that it doesn't have a lot of areas where buckles, seams, and textures would change. It's literally a giant body suit with a cape and some gold stipes. What I'm most curious about is her hair in that high pony. Do we get full volume like Dauterman or streamline like Frison or other artsists?

I'm not real familiar with Dawn of X, will be cool to see some new suits. Wonder how deep they'll actually go though, obviously sales dependent. Will this be a 5-statue line or a 20-statue one?

I think they could sell characters with a very different style than what’s been rehashed. Storm, Cyclops, Jean, Sinister, Bishop and Apocalypse would do well IMO. Big A has a really great look in Dawn of X.
Give me a Storm with a great ponytail and a modern suit - do it XM. Meanwhile, sideshow give us a black suit variant.
