Btw: Looks like she has overthrown (killed) Kingpin or crimeboss.
She shot the hole because she knew money was to be found in the chairs backrest (and seat).

She will be sitting in Brain matter and bone fragments as well considering she used a short barrel or "sawed-off" shotgun to dispatch whoever was sitting in that chair.
