Yes, in addition to the ridiculous added fur to tone down her cleavage, the paint colors are quite different.
Left is new, right is OG.

I wonder if some of the color difference is more from the lighting and purple background, hard to tell.
But yeah... you know what a toned-down bishoujo figure is? Not a bishoujo figure.
Thumbs down, and $300 saved.

I hate the fur, and I hate the purple glow (which is a feat, as purple is my all time fave color.) It makes no sense to have half of Thor's base be purple too to match up with Loki's, as there's no source of the purple glow to do that. That was a poor choice IMO. Also, the fur is a slap in the face. That alone makes me very happy to have the original versions. Well, that and the fuggin' prices.

The changes are bad. The principle is even worse.
Curious, what was the original price, do you recall?

Not sure what MSRP was, but I got Thor for $75 and Loki for $72 from Amazon back in April 2017.

Wow nice!
What a slap in the face indeed. Pull the same designs and.. molds( ? ) out of a dusty drawer and mark 'em up 60%. I promise the price of plastic hasn't gone up that much.

I am not sure on the MSRP either, but I got them both from DCBService.com in 2016, and both were $71.99 each. So, almost-ish half the price of the new versions.

Original MRSP for both of the originals was $89.99. I paid the same as SDguy from Amazon, $72 and $75,
