I can't win, if I say something worth reading I'll get flap about being too wordy and if say hardly anything I get flap about saying nothing.

Having just caught up on the new Thor comics, there is no way in hell that the Sentry is standing up to Thor, he states quite clearly in the comic that he still has the Odinpower and the power of Gaea. He beat Ironman in 3 hits, and afterwards he stated that Thor and the new Asgard are to be left alone, I think he stated this because he knew NOTHING could stop him. I mean look at Bor, Odins farther, Thor kicked his arse, it seems that the son inherits the power of there fathers and then some.

Why all the hate for Sentry? He cannot help how he is written LOL. From what I have read Sentry is the same level as Superman and therefore if his mind is in the right place he takes this. But as some of you have pointed out he is not the most stable of people.

What is the story behind his instability?

This fight is at current levels and Thor doesn't have the Odinpower anymore.

Right, in order to repair Mjolnir, which was damaged in the fight with Bor, Dr. Strange channeled the Odinpower through and out of Thor and into Mjolnir. Thus, Thor is at his prior Thunder God power level and no longer wielding the Odinpower.
