I haven't received Dewar's Athena yet so I don't know if I really like it or not. If I don't think it belongs in my collection I'll sell it, But if I like it I'll have it painted to my preferences. Black hair, gray eyes, etc. His statues overall are awesome, not ARH awesome, but awesome nonetheless and the way he paints skin tones is the best I've seen as far as realism goes.

He probably would have painted one to your liking if you had asked.

That's true but I have another painter in mind who I would like to touch it up.

So, Dewar's Athena came in today and I actually like it. I think it looks pretty good. (Idk why they are sideways)

Thanks for posting these comparison pics.
Personally, it seems to me that ARH Athena is still a lot better.
The italo-Corinthian helmet on ARH Athena is really iconic, and the pose looks more natural to me too.
The armor and helmet on the other statue look like a cardboard carnival outfit...sorry to say, but the rest looks fine, especially the body muscles (the back looks great)

Yes, ARH Athena reigns supreme no doubt. All in all I'm happy to add it to my collection.

I don't plan on doing anything more to it. I'll just save the money for Cleopatra.
