Congrats to everyone who has received darkness I’m glad most seem happy with. Definitely don’t regret cancelling mine though, for me it’s still not close enough to the proto (it’s the teeth I think which puts me off the most)

You say the teeth are NOT acrylic?
They are supposed to be, it was just the eyes that they changed.

The teeth are part of the sculpt, not acylic separate teeth like proto, they change that early on. Eyes are not acylic, its all statue with paint. Still looks good tho for the CHEAP price people paid to have this massive statue. Raf gave a really good review, and knowing Raf, HE WILL touch up that statue with more paint, fix eyes, shading, he will put new teeth in and then when he is done, he will have the ULTIMATE PCS LOD STATUE. He does it all the time to pieces that he feels are lacking somewhere, and he is a very talented man. Im sure people will ask or send him thier statues to fix if they are really picky, but out of the box, its a really nice statue from what I can see, and everyone that has one so far is now happy and doesnt care it took so long to get, because its now a reality sitting in thier collection.............and thats a great feeling.

Teeth were supposed to be acrylic... Quite frankly I think the teeth are way off from the movie.
The eyes Jerry changed with a kinda low key post awhile back. Which is ashame. The eyes are the weakest part on this piece (hoping to get mine repainted at some point but with Darkness being one solid piece I would have to ship the entire piece...) teeth following close second or third.
All in all it turned out nice like Akuma but not nearly as nice as the proto we were shown. I have to say imo the 1:3's are seriously lacking to date to what was shown.
RA said Ryu 1:3 turned out awesome so hoping we get something at or above expectations....

The biggest problem with the face are his eyes and teeth/mouth.
The difference is that the production Darkness has his eyes wide open and the iris different (looking down), which gives him a more surprised look, while the proto has more closed eyes (showing his eyelids) with the correct iris position (looking straight ahead) that gives him his menacing/evil look.
You can also see that the production mouth is more open showing much more of his bottom teeth, I believe they did this so they could insert the acrylic teeth.

Based on all the photo's posted so far, i think it's a very good statue.
It's not a statue's i'd buy, based on character. Admittedly i'm not obsessing over the smallest of details. I can spot the film character looks darker, more menacing, not quite as bright and cartoony as the statue. The teeth and eyebrows look very good.
