Someone has asked something similar before.

PBM gets offered a certain amount of exclusives. Sometimes they take them sometimes they dont.

For example, they took a few Zangief exclusives, but no Sub Zero Bust exclusives.

What I dont understand is why as consumers of the product you are putting prices into the manufacturers head? Why dont you keep schtum and let PCS decide what the value of the product you wish to purchase should be?

I cant see how this would be much more expensive than the other MK 1/3 statues. By throwing silly numbers like 2K around you are simply giving PCS ideas. How on earth can this slghtly larger statue suddenly be worth more than double what the previous releases were?

I realize that wars have been faught and won and peoples babies have grown up and gone to school since we ordered Scorpion but come on

not going to argue, but i will present facts as opposed to emotion or conjecture.

Its not 'slightly larger'. Its more than twice as much mass

Mass is different than height.

In addition, the costume is way more elaborate.

LOL. I feel ya.

But when you are typically pricing in the Chevy/Ford price range and step pricing up to Ferrari people will question.

Thankfully it's not in Bugatti or Pagani price range... yet...

As mentioned, a LARGER 3D objects is more than meets the eye. Goro's arms, torso, legs are much larger than Scorp or Sub.

Also taking into account other aspects. The ninjas a basic shaped dudes mainly dressed in clothing. Goro will not be covered as much, thus will we actually see more of the sculpt. I can not say for sure, only PCS can, but I would assume the scuplt under Sub and Scorp are very basic and are only there for structure, support and overall shape...no skin texturing, etc...

So with over double the clay used, en extra set of arms, not nearly as much covered up...based on the 3 ninjas, I can see this around 2k.

Also keep in mind, again a guess, the ninjas...once one was sculpted, the majority of him could be reused for the parts under clothing for the next 2.

People don't realize how big 1:3 really is, and then when you see Goro it looks almost 1:2 scale in terms of overall size (compared to other 1:2 scales I've seen) . I'll say it again, he is the biggest piece I've ever seen in person lol. I was estimating it was going to cost upwards of 2k, which for the size, mass, and potential detail its totally justified.
