This picture is giving me some ideas because my PAX shelves can't handle some of the heavy weight and they tend to bend in the middle. I like the way you reinforced it.

Thanks Jrod the predator is 50 plus pounds so I double shelved it and added these square pieces of wood from home depot that I cut to size and I spray painted black. If your still worried you can add another round support in the middle of the shelf. Just remember measure twice cut once

slick looking set up dr. b - ive been going back and forth with the idea of getting a pax this idea puts my mind a little more at ease

Sarah home depot sells these square shaped pieces of wood in various lengths and thickness I bought 4 for each shelf about 3/4 of an inch thickness and 3ft long cut them to length and spray painted them black they are about 3 bucks a piece but it's well worth the piece for of mind to know your shelves are well supported.

Thanks brother Sonic I love the amount of shelf space each unit provides but I wish Ikea made them a bit more sturdy but I'm sure they don't think people are going to put 70 lbs of statues on each shelf. I would definitely recommend picking up a couple units. I heard Ikea is going to be coming to Vegas next year.
