This I absolutely agree with IF we are going to get the others as well. I dont really like all of the designs, love Smoke tho, but like the Klassic line get through what will sell.
The difference is Im looking at this as if its the last MK9 piece we are getting, or more specifically the last modern interpretation of a Klassic Kharacter we are going to get. Obviously things are going to move to MK10, and I havent heard anything that implies that PCS will do something along the lines of alternating between an MK9 and an MK10 piece for preorders (which to me would be the best way to go!). Therefore we have to guess what MK9 characters are also going to be in 10, and idk if we can count on any that havent already been produced besides Raiden
This is why I think Reptile is an awful idea. His design is okay. I dont like it but I see why others would. If this is the last MK9 piece then those of us who Kollected the line have to consider displays. Maybe its an OCD think with me but I always like to have statues in pairs that display well together (i guess since a besta can usually fit two). We got sub zero and Scorpion which is great. We got Khan who could pair with either his daughter/new enemy in Kitana or Baraka as a hanchman of sorts. Adding Reptile doesnt fit anywhere there for me. I would like to see something like Mileena or Jade to go with Kitana (leaving Baraka n Khan together) or someone who would go good against Baraka like Cage or Jax or something.
Of course all of this means nothing and Im right on board with the rest of you if our klassic kharacters are going to continue to be made in modern form, but until we know that for sure Im surprised others arent considering things this way
