Mercenaries 2

Has anyone played Mercenaries 2 yet??
Acorrding to some websites its released this friday in the UK.

I had the first one and though it was a good game but something kept it from being great.

Whats everyone's opinion of this one.

I was thinking about picking it up but aren't sure.

Might just wait for Star Wars:Force Unleashed

I have it pre ordered. It doesn't officially release in the US until Sunday the 31st.

5th September for the UK, don't know if this is a confirmed release date as this game has been put back so much in the past.

I'm liking what i see and did enjoy the first game.

Picked this up today. So far I'm iffy on it. Most of my complaints about the first one are still there.

The graphics are a little rough. I'm not a graphics *****, but I appreciate nice looking games and this ain't one of them.

Vehicles are fragile. Hitting anything causes damage. Even bushes.

Killing civies costs money. It's really annoying since they'll regularly throw themselves in front of your vehicle.

Splash damage from explosions is insane here. A grenade can go off 40 feet away and cause a good chunk of damage. It doesn't seem to effect the enemy the same way though.

Machine guns are really inaccurate.

Some enemies take a huge amount of damage before going down.

Enemies re-spawn quickly. Especially the jeeps with the gunners on the back. You'll be dealing with TONS of these if you're anywhere near a road during a mission.

Glitches here and there too. Enemies clipping into walls making them impossible to kill, floating objects, physics acting up and throwing things way up into the air for no reason.

Hehe..that was a lot of b!tching, but the game is still fun too. I just don't know if it's fun enough to overlook the annoying aspects and glitches.

It is enjoyable but I really need someone to help with the weapons training level 3s they are way impossible! That is my only complaint
