Skilled Painters! ---Please lend your advice!

Skilled Painters,
Would you know which paint brand with what paint code would match the skin tone for this Red Sonja EX PF?

As you can see, the defect just above the leg band on her left leg need some sanding ...and then painting. Hoping someone with expertise can suggest a paint brand with the paint code that could match this PF's skin tone.

Thank you in advance for lending me your advice!

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

This'll be a tricky one mate. You'll probably need someone who's actually got the statue or at least access to the statue to give advice cos it's hard enough matching when you have the piece yourself let alone from photos.

I've just finished a custom Thor head and it took me a couple of tries to get it right:

That said there are plenty of better painters than me out there so hopefully one of them can chime in.

Your other option is to get some plastic spoons and paint them up as testers until you get one with a similar finish.

Good luck!

Yea, I figured as much.

I assumed its like trying to match paint on a vehicle when doing auto body modifications and/or repairs.

Thanks for the input, Bob! I got the same input from others as well.

In the end, I had Sideshow replace the body so I didn't have to sand and paint match my Red Sonja EX.

No worries mate and sounds like you took the best option. Hope the replacement is better than the first one as the finish looked pretty crappy.

The replacement wasn't perfect ...but definitely much better.

Thanks again!
