Well, that's one hell of a great attitude for an artist. Any real artist should know how to embrace criticism and improve their game. And by making it public, he invites the dialogue, be it positive or negative. Mindless ass kissing and praise never helped anyone.

I didn't say you're not a real artist, as a matter of fact you're probably my favorite sculptor lately. If that's the part you find relevant from my comment, suit yourself.

I agree with vitreolum. An artist better have thick skin or they should stay away from places they are libel to find this kind of criticism. Every piece in this thread deserves to be here.

Only want to hear when we think stuff is great?

One comment, two lines, and everything is said.

Chill out man...How about a thread ''Best statue ever made''. Will you stop crying ? Art is subjective one love it and another hate it.Somebody don't like this statue and post it here simple as that.If you can't take criticism keep all your work hidden into your basement and don't show it to the world. This thread is pure Entertainment...

Might be best for your well being and sanity. You're a great sculptor, but it might be time to take a break from this once it gets to this point.

You're better than that honestly.

I hate to say this but for it is Bowen Studio's Hellcat FS statue. It was sculpted by Mike Cusinelli who has scultped some fantastic statues but this one was a miss for me. I do not even think it was the whole statue itself, just the head. Plus, the eyes have a wonky Karen Black thing going on. (Which is a shame because Hellcat is one of my favorite Marvel characters.)
