one of the gang
No pics to post, but, just wanted to relay my excitement to be part of the Adi Granov club. Got my first half paid for, full color torso. Figure I'd go big primarily because I've been waiting for so long and it is a personal grail for me.
Also, maybe a first on here, I also have my first half paid for a Dijana Granov commission. That's right. Ill hopefully have brother and sister framed right next to each other within 2 months. Not quite as pricey as brother, but still up there. Check out her stuff on FB. Mad skills in that family, my goodness.

Congrats! Both are amazing talents. Caught Dijana's work on CAF a while back and started looking into it. You can tell by her style she is a Granov. Very similar look to Adi's work. I think we will be seeing more of her work very soon.

oh, no. i wish. my bank account couldn't handle that. the color torso will have to suffice. this adi piece marks an all-time high payout for me. everyone always says they pay more and more as time progresses, maybe its the evolution of being a collector, but, i can't see coughing up anymore than this piece cost. can't justify it.
my OA costs have gone up, just because I've become more particular in what i buy, as with my commissions. granted, there are exceptions. thisll be a tough act to follow, no doubt.

Heh...welcome to the club. :P I love the Valkyrie Adi did for me last year. Look forward to seeing him again at Calgary in a few weeks. I originally wasn't going to sign up for a piece this time, as he wasn't going to be able to do anything at home, and I wasn't sure I needed a head/bust piece from him right now. But then I found out he'd being doing 3/4 body pieces at the show, and couldn't help myself. Can't wait to see Adi's Hela!

Oh, and as for Dijana...I really like what I've seen of her art so far. She's on my list of artists to watch. Would try for a commission now, but I have a bit too much on my plate already.

yeah, eric, it was a tough call to go with the bigger piece at the con or the at home commission. guess, the tighter work at home sold me.
