I think we were on the same path. We discussed that before, about how we were really losing interest in this hobby. I am with you Vallos, this is definitely what I have been waiting years for. I had connection with a lot of my current pieces, but after seeing QOTD, Siren etc. it does not pain me to start purging what I have. I will be keeping my Batman-based collectibles, but everything else will most likely go. Batman and the female pieces of this line are my main interests right now.

This line is killing me. Sideshow's making it hard for me to stick to my comic-only focus. And I know that if I buy one, I'm going to buy them all.

Pffftttt let the comic book characters go. Enjoy them on paper and let the Court of the Dead consume your collectible collection, lol.

So what happens when they show Jean? You really gonna say no to Jean after all this waiting?

My only concerns at this point are quality and the direction this line goes in. The Siren piece is as "fantasy" as I want to go. So far most of them look more horror based.

I have a lot of respect for your decision Lady D to mainly focus on this line for your collection going forward. This line has the potential to be Sideshow's greatest line ever if the production quality closely matches the prototypes. I haven't gotten there myself but there are several pieces in this line that I am interested in and plan to buy. These are good times to be a collector.

Other than the horror/fantasy element that is striking a cord within, I love that these are fresh ideas, never before seen, and that we, as collectors are unique in that we are getting this first. This has great potential to branch off to other mediums, but this was created solely for us collectors. Not for comic/novel readers, movie goers or video game players, but us statue collectors. That to me is fantastic!

I don't know at this time. I think if she came out now, I would be up for it. But if I get committed to this Court of the Dead line it might make passing on her less painful.

I also like that they're not pulling any punches with this line either. They must have known that the Red Death would be too much for many, but they went full force with it, and it's incredible; grotesque as it is, I can't look away. Even the topless option on the Siren suggests to me that they're letting their artists work unconstrained. And considering Marvel's 'Disneyfication', it's refreshing.

I can't afford all the pieces from this fantastic line. I'd hate to have a few and not all. I really don't have the money nor the room. So, I think to represent this line in my collection I'll be getting just "Death The Alltaker".

I don't think this line would require or push you to be a completest. We really don't know much about these characters and their connections to each other. Which makes it easier to focus on the characters you like most and to display them either together or on their own. This will probably prove wrong if Sideshow releases more digital comics involving them.
