I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Battlestar Galactica (remake, Series 1) 5/10

I watched parts of this back in 2003/4 whenever it first released. But it isn't quite what I remember, it has good stuff, but it also has lots of cliched and predictable stuff also. Not to mention a large amount of re-used footage which is further highlighted when watching episodes back to back. It actually became a struggle to stick with it and I'm not sure I'll manage the rest. My favorite parts were when a fully qualified doctor in the future prescribed Prayer for cancer patient. And then when that same ill president has a break down and starts speaking about being Gods messenger, all of her rival politicians etc fall to their knees and embrace it. Good stuff....

finally got round to watching Constantine; 8.5/10
not a bad series, quite funny in parts and Matt Ryan is great as Constantine, shame it's going to be the only series.

That is so narrow minded. There were a few episodes about Jesse and his parents who in the end wanted nothing to do with him. That would be interesting to revisit considering the closest thing Jesse had to a father figure was Walter and that would mess up anyone. Jesse also had a younger brother who seemed to be very sheltered by his parents which they showed in Breaking Bad. Jesse trying to reconnect (at least with his younger brother) would be interesting to watch.

Orange is the New Black, Season 7. Final Season. 9/10.

Have to admit, each season was either hit or miss for me. Lack of consistency made me not much of a fan, but continued to watch as my wife loves this show.

Holy crap, this season was a kick in the gut with every episode. I actually found myself mouth-agape and in tears at some points. Absolutely gut wrenching and stellar series finale.

Yellowstone S2 - 10/10

By far my favorite series running today. S1 was a 10 for me as well and S2 just expands on everything I loved the first time around. Very interesting narrative, well developed characters, brilliant acting and gorgeous cinematography make for the perfect blend of action, suspense and melodrama. Yellowstone hits all the marks for me and there isn’t anything I didn’t like about it.

Carnival Row - 8.5/10 - At its heart this is nicely crafted mystery show with huge cup of political intrigue and social commentary. Its also wrapped in the supernatural and fantasy elements and tucked into the victorian age. Just an awesome first season.

In to The Badlands

Amazing fight choreography but felt the story was lacking in a couple of places. Nice to see Nick Frost play someone other than Simon Pegg's comedy sidekick for a change.

Solid 8/10
