Still happy with my OG.
I'm happy with my OG as well. This new Bane looks great as well. The 26" would be to tall for me anyhow as im running out of space. Congrats to anyone picking this one up.

The official pics look a lot better than the Sideshow Comic Con ones. Still I think it is a too early addition to the rogues gallery before we've even gotten Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, etc.

This is a nice complement to the montrous Bane as this one depicts his strategic, cunning side.

The “Maquette” name means nothing though. Why is this a maquette? With this and Silver Surfer, there’s more expensive and elaborate PFs at this point so what does maquette even mean anymore? Lol minor annoyance.
Trust me as a new PF collector, I am also confused by this.

I’ve heard maquette meaning their justification for a higher retail price. I think the size of it also had to do with their category placement of maquette for this piece being over 25” tall.

I don’t know. The Superman PF is the same height but isn’t a maquette.

Well, it’s Sideshow! I don’t have them figured out, I’m just taking a stab at it.

I'm starting to lean more towards Maquettes being made in different factory, but who knows.
