I don’t like the red inside his cape. I know he had that look for a while, but the black looked better. Changing the base would have been enough, but they can’t even get repaints correct.
This happens time and time again with XM because they don’t know sources material and choose not do any research on character design past a simple Google comic cover search. Seriously, it’s sad and tired. They could have made a fortune off this character if they had taken any time at all to do research or ask people for some issues with good interior pages.

The base wasnt the issue as it matched the comic. The issue is that XM attempted to combine both classic and new Sinister and it just doesnt work. It's gotta be one or the other.

Nah, you're not the only one... I thought the same for his cartoon and original comics look.
Only after I learned about Claremont's original plans that Sinister was a construct made up by a child did it all make sense.
