Good God, Michael. What the hell kind of glass dome did you grow up under? Hooterville is the country town that's the setting for Green Acres and Petticoat Junction. It also exists as part of the Beverly Hillbillies' universe.
Yeesh! I sentence you to watching a weekend's worth of TV Land and Fox Movie Classics/Turner Classic Movies.

Sorry, I grew up on a farm so there wasn't much time for watching TV. In the summers my brother and I had chores that took up most of the day and when we didn't have chores we were playing army in my dad's 100 pasture or building tree houses in the woods or fishing in the creek........God, that sound awful hickish..........
