Likeness isn't quite there. It's that scanning that doesn't get close enough.

And a switchout unmasked version would be cool.

Still on the fence. I wished there was an unmasked version as that's how I want to display it next to BW.

I Always have loved the simple and clean bases from Attakus statues, never have been a fan of the Sideshowbases for instance. Very difficult the show some together. Those new clear (boring = good for me) bases of Gentle Giant are awesome, brings ALL focus to the statue itself.

I've gotta agree with you even though part of me wants a base with every statue...it's frustrating when some statues that could go together nicely from a character sculpt/lore simply don't work because the bases don't look good together. I actually kind of like the GG sleek clear bases however I still am not sold on the face sculpts and skin tone paint apps. I may pick up this line and then do some mods to the paint apps myself because I'm really liking the body sculpts of their BW and Cap WS.

This is one of the reasons I am warming to the clear bases.

Yeah, I've lost count of how many times I've planned on buying a group of SS PFs with the intention to display them together as a group only to have them not match up because of inconsistencies with the bases. Environment style bases are nice, especially on stand alone pieces but I really like the clear bases too, especially for group displays.

For a company as Sideshow who often gave a 2nd base it would be awesome to have the option to choose between a envirement base and a museum clear base. I would even pay some bucks more for that option.
