I was actually a BIG fan of this costume in the Brubaker/Eaglesham run of Super Soldier. Great stuff.

Yeah I hope there is a mint looking shield. Enough of the battle damage with these companies already.

Hmm, looks a bit mannequinish there, not quite like Chris Evans, but the 'cloth' texturing is magnificent.

I'm not that fussed about the sculpts actually looking like the movie actors, I'm more than happy if they just look "life like". I'm really not bothered with comic humanism (even though the Western comic style is light years ahead of Anime style).

The cloth sculpting is mind blowing, and makes the whole idea of mixed media a complete joke.

Hmm, the sculpted outfit looks great but the face is very flat and pale looking. I really hope that GG starts doing comic versions as well.

ok.....well, thanks for stating the obvious.

I wasn't aware that I needed to carry out a PhD level analysis of society thinking before making a statement.

But yes, in my humble opinion, sculpted cloth is better than mixed media.

While I can appreciate a well executed mixed media piece I will admit sculpted cloth still looks better. To me anyways. This piece is a perfect illustration of that.

As far as the battle damaged shield goes... I would prefer a more iconic red, white and blue shield but if this is how it looks in the majority of the film then I have no problem with this scuffed up silverish battle damaged look.
