Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I think if I ever started collecting DC statues this guy would have to be one of the first ones I would want. As far as statues go, he's up there as one of the greats.

I predict Prime 1's will top it, not because they're necessarily the better company, but because they're aware of the high benchmark SS set, which they know they'll have to at least match (especially for what's likely to be twice the MSRP.)

To be honest I don't really see how you could straightup top this one. It seems to be perfectly executed. You could most definitely make another awesome piece, but I don't see how it would end up being superior.

Ssc Lobo is one of the best statue ever made period. The mixed media is perfectly used.

Coincidentally (I think not ) - it's the ONLY DC prepaint I own.

Very well put.

I understand the hopes for the PRIME piece, but even though I'm a HUGE Lobo fan, just can't imagine anything that will tempt me after the perfection of the Sideshow piece.

On principle, the mixed media is perfectly implemented/suited for the character, but it's not as if leather texture can't be achieved with sculpt. Sorry if it stirred debate. My comment was meant to complimentary of the Sideshow piece. I just don't think any piece is unbeatable and you'd have to set you eye toward that goal as a company for even attempting another large scale Lobo after the reception the PF earned.
